An imprint of Mashman Consulting Group. Nothing more, nothing less.
What Mashman Publishing is, what it is not, and how a personal branding book moves from manuscript to market under it.
What It Is
An imprint of MCG. By combining our expertise in personal branding and reputation architecture with modern day mass distribution, we publish books that have traditional credibility without all of the fine print.
In plainer terms: Mashman Publishing is a DBA (a fictitious business name) of Mashman Consulting Group, not a separate legal entity, and not one of the standalone businesses under the MASHMAN umbrella. It is MCG operating under a different name for a specific purpose: giving the work MCG publishes its own dedicated identity, distinct from consulting engagements.
The imprint has no separate founding date of its own. It exists as long as MCG has needed a publishing identity, and its full legal form, used on copyright pages, contracts, and anywhere the distinction matters, is:
Mashman Publishing, a DBA of Mashman Consulting Group LLC.
What It Publishes
Today, that is Isaac Mashman's own book, Personal Branding: A Manifesto on Fame & Influence, now in its second edition. One book, two editions, not two separate titles. See full specifications for both editions. Beyond the house title, the imprint is also used for client books, on a case-by-case basis, where MCG has a strong enough relationship with the client to publish on their behalf.
That is a deliberate limit, not an oversight. Mashman Publishing is not positioned as an open press soliciting manuscripts: it is positioned as the publishing arm of an existing consulting relationship, brought in when a book is the right next asset for a brand MCG is already building.
How a Client Title Happens
There is no submission form, because there is no open call. If you are an MCG client and a book fits where your brand is headed, that conversation starts with your consultant as part of the existing engagement, not as a separate pitch to the imprint.
Do you accept unsolicited manuscripts?
No. Mashman Publishing works exclusively with MCG's own author and clients with an existing MCG relationship.
Is every MCG client offered a book?
No. It is considered individually, where a book is genuinely the right vehicle for that client's brand and MCG's relationship with them supports publishing on their behalf.
How does distribution work?
Every title is built on the author's own organic reach first, then produced for print, digital, and audio formats through standard trade distribution channels: the same standard the house title is held to.
Where can I buy the book?
Paperback and hardcover through Amazon, Target, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, and Books-A-Million. Ebook through Kobo and Everand. Not every retailer carries every format; see the full catalog for which retailer stocks which format.
Who do I contact about rights or press?
