Distribution

Every Format. One Release.

Mashman Publishing takes a 360 approach to every title: paperback, hardcover, ebook, and audiobook, planned together from the start and produced as one suite, not one format at a time.

The 360 Approach

The Entire Suite, Not a Single Format.

Most books reach readers in one or two formats, with the rest added later or never. Mashman Publishing plans for the entire suite from the first page. A reader who listens, a reader who wants the hardcover on a shelf, and a reader who buys on a phone at midnight all find the same book, in the format they actually use.

Every format is a door into the author's personal brand. Leaving one closed leaves readers on the other side of it.

The Four Formats

One Manuscript. Four Ways In.

Each format has its own reader and its own job. The flagship title shows where each one stands today.

The book in a voice, for readers who listen on the commute, at the gym, or between meetings.

The Tools

New Tools. The Same Standard.

Producing the entire suite once took a year and a studio. Mashman Publishing leverages new tools to expedite the process, and keeps the editorial bar exactly where it was.

01

AI Narration and Voice Cloning

An audiobook no longer waits on months of studio time. AI narration and voice cloning let an audiobook be produced in a fraction of the time, including in a voice modeled on the author's own, with the author's consent.

02

Advanced Editing Capabilities

Developmental editing, line editing, copyediting, and proofing, supported by advanced editing tools that catch what a tired eye misses, so every format ships from the same clean manuscript.

03

An Ongoing Distributor Relationship

The imprint works with the distributor behind Isaac Mashman's own book. It is an ongoing relationship, so each new title and each new format reaches retail without starting from zero.

04

Certified Partners of MCG

Cover design, interior layout, and the other specialist work a book needs come from Certified Partners of Mashman Consulting Group: professionals certified to work to the MCG standard.

The Process

From Manuscript to Market.

Five stages, the same for every title on every track. The signature of the imprint, Manuscript to Market, is the whole of the work.

01

Manuscript

Editorial development, then line editing, copyediting, and proofing. Every title is held to the same bar as the house's own; no title ships underprepared because of who wrote it.

02

Design

The cover and the interior, built with Certified Partners of MCG, so the book looks like it belongs beside the best of its category.

03

Production

Print files for the paperback and the hardcover, the ebook edition, and the audiobook, narrated with modern tools. One manuscript, every format.

04

Distribution

Identifiers and metadata set for each format, and the book taken to standard trade and retail channels through an ongoing distributor relationship.

05

Reach

The book feeds back into the personal brand it came from. MCG works with imprint clients to land press for their title and teaches them how to properly leverage that body of work.

The Distribution Model

Where the Personal Brand Meets the Market.

The imprint exists because a built audience and a distributed book are two different disciplines that are stronger combined than either is alone.

01

Organic Foundation

Coverage is pursued organically: earned through the work rather than bought. Every title starts from an audience the author has already built directly.

02

Editorial Standard

Manuscript development, editing, and design held to the same bar as the house's own title. No title ships underprepared because of who wrote it.

03

Trade Production

Print, digital, and audio formats prepared for standard trade and retail distribution channels, positioned for readers who found the book, not only the author.

04

Compounding Reach

The book feeds back into the personal brand it came from: a physical, distributable asset the author's own platform can point to indefinitely.

Questions

Distribution, Answered.

Rights and distributor inquiries go directly to contact@mashmanpublishing.com (opens in a new tab).

What does a 360 approach to publishing mean?

It means every title is planned as the entire suite of formats from the start: paperback, hardcover, ebook, and audiobook. Each format is produced from the same manuscript and distributed through standard trade and retail channels, rather than one format at a time.

Which formats does Mashman Publishing produce?

Paperback, hardcover, ebook, and audiobook. The flagship title, Personal Branding: A Manifesto on Fame & Influence, is available in paperback, hardcover, and ebook, and its audiobook is in production.

Does Mashman Publishing use AI narration?

Yes. AI narration and voice cloning are among the tools the imprint uses to expedite audiobook production, including narration in a voice modeled on the author's own, with the author's consent.

Who designs Mashman Publishing books?

Cover design, interior layout, and other specialist work come from Certified Partners of Mashman Consulting Group, who work to the same standard as the house's own title.

Where are Mashman Publishing books sold?

Through standard trade and retail channels. The flagship's paperback is at Amazon, Target, Barnes & Noble, and Books-A-Million; the hardcover at Walmart, Barnes & Noble, and Books-A-Million; the ebook at Kobo and Everand.

Can I submit a manuscript for distribution?

No. Mashman Publishing does not accept unsolicited manuscripts. Titles come from its house author, from collaborators embedded in MCG's work, and from MCG clients, through their consultant.
